S3 ID has appointed Paul Lath as Project Manager for its oil and gas RTLS (Real Time Location System) projects.
He will have responsibility for S3 ID’s world-leading safety related automatic muster, POB (Person On Board) and personnel tracking systems.
Paul, a Professional Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS CITP) and a Chartered IT Professional, has extensive management and systems engineering experience of multiple and varied projects in several industries, including Oil & Gas, Power and Energy Utilities, Water, Public Sector and Emergency Services.
UK-based S3 ID is an international company providing complete ‘location awareness’ solutions and is the manufacturer of the acclaimed S3 range of products spanning everything from personnel and asset tracking, POB, mustering, access control, safety and security to travel logistics management, shift rotation planning and bed management.
Paul will be involved in delivery of several major projects recently secured by S3 ID including a sizeable contract on the Australian Gorgon Project, which S3 ID is fulfilling via its Perth based Solution Partner, Western Advance. The contract involves supply of S3 ID’s innovative new ATEX certified eLock™ locking systems, which has recently been launched with a unique wireless monitoring facility.
Alongside this is a large new contract win for S3 ID to supply its technologies to the Statoil Gudrun Personnel Tracking System (PTS) Project via Siemens Norway. This major project rolls out the proven PTS technology as supplied by S3 ID to Statoil for its Statfjord field.
Based at the company’s UK headquarters in Rotherham, Paul will focus on making sure that each project is delivered exactly to customer requirements. S3 ID has regional offices in Norway, Singapore and the Middle East, along with Solution Partners around the world.
