S3 ID is an international company providing ‘world-class’, cutting edge ‘location awareness’ solutions and is the manufacturer of the acclaimed S3 range of products spanning everything from personnel and asset tracking, personnel on board or on site (POB/POS), mustering, access control, safety and security to travel logistics management, shift rotation planning and bed management.
S3 ID is unique. The S3 range has been developed from first hand experience serving the on-shore and off-shore Oil, Gas & Energy industries. Products are ATEX certified and solutions use patented technology time proven in operation worldwide with many blue chip clients. S3 ID provides application expertise in this specialist market sector which is second to none.
From our primary operational sites located in the United Kingdom and Norway we design, engineer, supply and support our products, systems and solutions globally. Our sales and marketing is also led from these offices, but also is supported by regional sales offices located in the Americas and Asia.

Our solutions are designed, assembled and tested in our UK offices and workshop, both located on the same site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

S3 ID are ISO9001-2000 accredited and meet the high standards required by both the customers we serve and the hazardous and often extreme locations where we operate. We are a BSI Registered firm of assessed capability to BS EN ISO 9001 2000; Registration No: FS 533702
S3 ID quality policy is established in the company Quality Manual and the associated Procedures and Design Codes of Practice. S3 ID believes that a high standard of Health and Safety control are an essential part of our business management. We recognize our Health and Safety duties under The Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations1999 and other relevant legislation and codes of practice that are applicable to our work place.
As a responsible business we operate an Environmental Policy to BS ISO 14001:2004 and a Health & Safety Management System to BS OHSAS 18001:2007, both of which are certified by QMS.
The company is a British Safety Council registered centre and as such all other employees are required to hold BSC Level 1 Certificates in Health and Safety. Personnel who are employed on installation work hold CCNSG Safety Passports. The company also has a number of personnel who hold AHOTA Survival and Fire Fighting Certificates.
