S3 ID has appointed Paul Lath as Project Manager for its oil and gas RTLS (Real Time Location System) projects. He will have responsibility for S3 ID’s world-leading safety related automatic muster, POB (Person On Board) and personnel tracking systems.

UK-based S3 ID has been awarded a contract to supply its technologies to the Statoil Gudrun Personnel tracking System (PTS) Project via Siemens Norway. The major new Gudrun PTS project rolls out the proven PTS technology as supplied by S3 ID to Statoil for their Statfjord field.
