The S3 product range name, S3, is derived from three words which apply to everything we provide;

The S3 range, which comprises hardware & software products and specialist engineering services, is divided into six families: -
S3 ID offers a comprehensive range of engineering services grouped into three service areas:- Specialist Consultancy Services in location tracking and mustering, Specialist Engineering Services and After Sales engineering services in support of all our specialist products, systems and turn-key solutions.
Emergency procedures and plans required by ATEX 137 and DSEAR require on site personnel to report to pre-designated positions in order to establish the POS or POB after an incident or a routine drill. S3 ID eMuster™ ATEX certified products offer a range of solutions for automating the post incident or drill muster registration process.
Specifically designed for use in hazardous areas found in the Oil, Gas, Energy & Petro-Chemical Industries, our new and growing eSecurity™ product family has been designed especially as a logical modular addition to our market-leading S3 product range.
We have developed a range of enhanced safety products that incorporate our specialist technologies. Our eSafety™ products include the new UltraSafe™ Safety Helmet and the SeaMarshall+™ Personal Locator Beacon. these unique products is that since the user’s ID is recorded along with the other data in the embedded RFID tag.
The logistics of scheduling personnel; whether they are the Oil Company’s own staff or Service Company staff can be extremely complex. This provides operators with a common but diverse range of management challenges which our eLogistix™ solutions are specifically designed to solve.
With our eServices™ and eLocator™ products forming the systems foundation, each of these product families form system ‘building blocks’ of hardware and software which can be ‘plugged together’ as required to achieve the desired configuration and functionality needed to meet a clients specific needs.

Uniquely, we are able to provide products and solutions using technologies we have proven in operation for well over a decade. However, we are also highly pro-active innovators. We continually invest in developing new technologies and techniques for the benefit of our clients. As such, and again uniquely, we hold numerous patents around the globe for the core technologies we use – and have still further patents pending to protect the new generation of products we are currently developing.
Quality ‘Built in’ by design
S3 ID design and builds its products and solutions with safety, quality and reliability being top priorities. Our experience of serving the on-shore and off-shore oil & gas industries means that our systems are designed and built to last in very harsh and unforgiving environments. As such, systems we originally supplied and installed over a decade ago are still functioning today.
We operate a formal quality management system certified by BSI in line with BS ISO 9001:2008, and as a responsible business also operate an Environmental Policy to BS ISO 14001:2004 and a Health & Safety Management System to BS OHSAS 18001:2007, both of which are certified by QMS.
